Dr. Bullock joined the Department of Political Science at UNO in 2005 after spending two years in UNO's Department of History. His research and teaching interests include political thought of the Founding Era, Constitutional history, and the intersection of politics and sport in the contemporary period.
Dr. Bullock has recently won UNO's 2008 College of Arts & Sciences Alumni Excellence in Teaching Award.

Current Research:
Dr. Bullock's book, Playing for their Nation: Baseball and the American Military during World War II, published in 2004 investigates the role of baseball in the military during the Second World War. Dr. Bullock is also the co-editor (with Professor Carson Holloway) of a two-volume work, The Founding Principles of the United States, which provides an outline of the evolution of American society since the founding
