Classes in science are anything but boring when you have CAPOW! CAPOW! is a science display of pops, bangs, and flashes - a show of Chemistry And Physics On Wheels by the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). This includes exciting overviews of physics, chemistry and energy resources.
Ask UNO chemistry, physics, or geology professors to wow your students with a thrilling variety of shows and demonstrations.
Per your interests, the demonstrator, and the main topic of a particular show, students may see and hear professors with lightning coming from their fingertips, professors lying on a bed of nails, nails being pounded into boards with bananas, 55-gallon steel drums crumpling with a bang, smoke rings snuffing out flames, astonishing explosions, colorful chemical reactions, spectacular voice changes, and a host of other chemical, electrical, mechanical and thermal marvels.
Only CAPOW! allows UNO chemistry, physics, and geology professors to take science to area schools. Many schools may not have the specialized equipment on hand for a wide variety of science demonstrations and CAPOW! can help. Demonstrations are available for the elementary and secondary school levels.
Watch and enjoy the shows as you awaken your students’ interest in chemistry, physics and earth science- call 402-554-3646 or 1-888-UNO-NASA (1-888-866-6272).
