PATHWAYS TO HARMONY OBJECTIVES
To provide exercises for constructive dialogue focusing on human relations issues pertinent to the UNO campus and community. To enhance respectful relationships/collegiality and celebrate diversity. To encourage individual action/participation to address/interrupt insensitive behavior.
Participants Can Expect to:
Identify culturally insensitive behavior. Discover cultural barriers to communication that inhibit success. Understand and respect cultural differences. Feel empowered to interrupt inappropriate behavior. Affirm the values of openness, social justice and respect for the individual. Learn how to become more flexible and adaptable.
