Lot Information

Crossroads Mall

UNO provides remote parking from the Crossroads Mall Parking Structure, located at 72nd and Cass Street between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday when classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters.

Crossroads Mall Parking Structure parking is permitted on levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 ONLY. (Not on levels 5, 6 or in the surface lots.) Vehicles parked illegally may be towed, without further notice, at the owner/operators expense. The shuttle bus service from Remote Parking is provided free of charge and no parking permit is required.

Shuttle buses load and unload at the Southwest corner of the Crossroads Mall Parking Structure approximately every 15 minutes making stops ONLY North of the Durham Science Center and North of the Milo Bail Student Center. The Shuttle buses return directly to the Crossroads Mall after the stop at MBSC.

Faculty/Staff

Faculty/Staff parking areas are designated by parking lot signs green in color. Faculty/Staff parking lots are as follows: lots E, G, H, M, O, Q, R, S, U, W, X, First Christian Church (FCC), west area only, lots 4, 6, 8, 9 (South portion) and 14 at the Pacific campus and lot 20 at the Center campus.

Faculty/Staff are restricted to Faculty/Staff parking lots from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. After 2:30 p.m., vehicles bearing valid parking permits may park in Faculty/Staff lots and designated Student lots as follows: A, D, F, G, H, K, N, and X, lot 5 at the Pacific campus.

After 8 p.m., vehicles bearing valid parking permits may park in designated Student lot 2 at the Pacific campus.

Night Only Permits: Faculty/Staff personnel with “Night Only” permits may park on campus after 2:30 p.m., in the lots specified above.

Payment of Fees: Faculty/Staff permit fees are due and payable at the time the permit is issued. Faculty and Staff designated by the UNO Human Resources Office as permanent personnel may elect to make payment through payroll deduction.

Faculty and Staff personnel who retire from the University may request parking permits free of charge by making application at Parking Services.

Student Parking

Students desiring to park at the UNO Dodge, Pacific or Center location must purchase and display a valid parking permit.

Student parking areas are designated by parking lot signs red in color. Specific student lots are as follows: lots A, D, F, G, H, K, N, T, V, X, St. Margaret Mary’s Church lot (West area, East/West Drive South of the church unless otherwise posted), First Christian Church lot (West area), lots 2, 5, 8, 9 (South portion) and 14 at the Pacific campus and lot 20 at the Center campus.

Students are restricted to student lots from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. After 2:30 p.m., vehicles bearing valid parking permits may park in Student lots and designated Faculty/Staff lots as follows: G, H, M, O, Q, S and X and Lot 6 at the Pacific campus.

After 8 p.m., vehicles bearing valid parking permits may park in designated Faculty/Staff lots E, R, W and lot 4 at the Pacific campus.

Night Only Permits: Students with “Night Only” parking permits may park on Campus after 2:30 p.m. in student parking the lots and designated Faculty/Staff lots after 2:30 p.m. as specified above.

Graduate Teaching Assistants may apply for G.T.A. parking privileges. G.T.A. permits are restricted to Faculty/Staff lots only.

Parking Structures

Entry to these structures requires an access on a MavCard.
To obtain access, you must first purchase a valid annual UNO parking permit. Parking structure access will be issued on a first come first serve basis. Access to the parking structure does not guarantee a place to park in the structure. There is a non-refundable surcharge fee for parking in the structure.

UNIVERSITY DRIVE EAST

  1. If a MavCard is lost or stolen you should report it as soon as possible to Parking Services and MavCard Services. Faculty/Staff access will be restricted to U-lot (middle level) only. Student access will allow access to both V (upper level) and T (lower level) lots. Handicap parking spaces are available in V lot only. Maximum vehicle height is posted at the entrance to each level.
  2. Access will expire on August 15 of each year.
  3. Parking Structure access issued to individuals with “Night Only” permits will allow entry into the Parking Structure only after 2:30 p.m.
  4. Access to the Parking Structure will be allowed by use of an entry fee of $2.00 after 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. No parking permit is required after 12:30 p.m.
  5. Any difficulties experienced with the parking structure gates should be reported to Parking Services immediately.
  6. This parking structure is not available for Residents.

UNIVERSITY DRIVE SOUTH

  1. Entry to the University Drive South Parking Structure, West of Maverick Village, requires access on a MavCard. Residents of Maverick Village and University Village that park a vehicle on campus will be restricted to lots J and L ONLY. To obtain access, you must first purchase a valid annual UNO parking permit. There is a non-refundable surcharge fee for parking in the structure (see surcharge fee schedule). Lots J and L will not be oversold. If a MavCard is lost or stolen you should report it as soon as possible to Parking Services and MavCard Services. Handicap parking spaces are available on levels 1 and 2. Maximum vehicle height is posted at the entrance to each level.
  2. Access will expire on August 15 of each year.
  3. Available spaces will be sold on a first come first serve basis to commuter Students, Faculty and Staff. For commuter Students, Faculty and Staff, a reserved surcharge fee will be charged because of the reserved parking in lots J and L (see surcharge fee schedule).
  4. Any difficulties experienced with the parking structure gates should be reported to Parking Services immediately.

Scott Residents

  1. Scott Residents desiring to park in the Scott Resident parking area (Lots 7, 10-13) or in any student lot on the Dodge or Center campus, must purchase and display a valid Scott Resident parking permit.

  2. Entry to Lots 7, 10-13 requires access on a MavCard. Scott residents should contact the Business Office at Scott Residence Hall for instructions to obtain access for Scott Resident parking.

  3. Scott residents with a valid parking permit may park on campus over night. However, the vehicle must be in one of the Scott parking areas or Student parking areas on Dodge or Center campus when parking regulations enforcement begins (Monday-Friday at 7 a.m., when classes are in session). Scott resident vehicles parking in Faculty/Staff parking areas when parking regulations enforcement begins may receive a violation for unauthorized lot and/or be towed, without further notice, at the owner/operators expense.

  4. A Scott Resident access does not guarantee spaces on campus at any time during the day or evening.

University Village/Maverick Village

  1. University or Maverick Village residents desiring to park on campus must purchase and display a valid UNO parking permit for lots J and L. Parking permits for lots J and L are restricted to lots J and L ONLY. The lot J and L permits will also be valid in the appropriate lots at the Pacific and Center campuses. There is a non-refundable surcharge fee for parking in lots J and L (see fee table above).

  2. Entry to lots J and L require access on a MavCard. University Village residents should contact Parking Services to obtain access for lots J and L.

  3. University residents parking on campus are restricted to lots J and L ONLY. University residents vehicles not parked in lots J or L may receive a violation for no permit or unauthorized lot and/or be towed, without further notice, at the owner/operators expense.

  4. University Village and Maverick Village Residents may not park in metered stalls at any time.
