Visitors
- Visitors are considered to be persons (other than Students, Staff, and Faculty) who occasionally visit the campus for pleasure, conferences, or business.
- Visitors may park in metered areas without a permit.
- Visitors may utilize the Remote Parking service at the Crossroads Mall Parking Structure.
- Visitors who plan to be on campus one to two days are requested to obtain a Temporary Parking Permit from the Campus Security office (Room 100, Eppley Administration Building) or from the department they are visiting. Circumstances which require longer term parking can be authorized by filling out an application at the Campus Security office (EAB 100) and a permit for the necessary period of time will be issued for a fee. (see Parking Permit Fee Schedule).
- Visitors may have two (2) violation notices during one year (September through August) vacated by signing the reverse side of the notice and returning it to the Campus Security department within five (5) days. All other violations may be paid or appealed at the Campus Security office.
- Visitor Temporary Parking Permits are valid in any Faculty/Staff or Student parking lot.

Remote Parking
- Vendors who infrequently visit the UNO campus may park in metered areas without a permit.
- Vendors who need to come on campus frequently may stop by the Campus Security office and obtain a free, one to two day Temporary Parking Permit or purchase an Annual Vendor Parking Permit. See Parking Permit Fee Schedule for rates.
- Vendors may have two violation notices vacated during a one year period (September through August) by signing the reverse side of the notice and returning it within five (5) days to the Campus Security office. All other violations may be appealed or paid at the Campus Security office.
- Vendors with Temporary or Annual Parking Permits may park in any Faculty/Staff or Student parking lot or use parking meters. A Temporary or Vendor permit does not exempt the individual from paying meter fees as posted. Vendor permits are not authorized to use Service Vehicle stalls. Service Vehicle stalls are for University marked vehicles and vendor vehicles bearing permanent company identification only.

Metered Parking is patroled from X AM - XPM. All other lots are patrolled at all times - you will most likely be ticketed.

Prohibited Parking
Don't Park in the Following Places:
Any Place with a yellow curb.
Any place that has "No Parking" posted.
Any other place I am given to put here.
