FIRE: Fund for Investing in the Research Enterprise

FIRE grants will support the collection of preliminary data/proof of concept for faculty projects that demonstrate a high potential for attracting substantial extramural funding (>$250,000 in direct costs over the term of the grant). Awards of $20,000 are available for single investigator FIRE proposals, and multi-investigator, collaborative proposals may request up to $35,000.
