Reservations

OLLAS has secured two types of preferencial rates, depending on whether you are a “presenter,” listed in the final Conference Program or a non-presenter attendee.  Please read the instructions below carefully before you make reservations.   

Presenters/Speakers
Cumbre 2010 presenters/speakers need to make hotel reservations directly through OLLAS.  Please contact Lucy Garza Westbrook at lgarza@mail.unomaha.edu or 402-554-3835 to arrange your accommodations. Please be prepared to provide her with your arrival and departure dates and a copy of your travel itinerary.

Conference Attendees
Cumbre 2010 attendees, who are not presenting at the conference, are eligible for the contracted rates listed below. Attendees needing hotel accommodations for any of the nights of May 13, 14, or 15, are responsible for making reservations directly through Embassy Suites. To reserve a room please call the Embassy Suites in Omaha, NE at 402-346-9000 or nationally at 1-800-EMBASSY. To book at the special University of Nebraska rate, you must first tell the reservation specialist your check in and check out dates and that you are booking at the "University of NE at Omaha rate." The UNO rate is subject to availability.

Shuttle Service from Omaha Eppley Airport to the Embassy Suites

A complimentary round-trip airport shuttle is available to transport Cumbre guests from Omaha Eppley Airport to the Embassy Suites.  The shuttle runs from 5 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. upon request.  To request shuttle services, go to the Ground Transportation Center, located inside center door #3 on the lower level of the terminal building.  There are local area hotel phone boards located near the north and south baggage claim areas. Use this courtesy phone to contact the Embassy Suites at (402) 346-9000 and ask to be directed to the shuttle service.  The shuttle typically arrives within seven minutes.

Conference Parking

For guests staying at the Embassy Suites, there is all-day and overnight self parking available in the south lot of the hotel at no cost. 

Cumbre attendees may use valet parking at the reduced rate of $8.00 a day. 

Another option for attendees is the parking structure, Omaha Park Four ($4.00-$6.00) located near the hotel in the Old Market on the southwest corner of 10th and Jackson.  Meter parking is available in close proximity to the hotel which is free on Saturday and Sunday.  Lastly, there are city parking lots located throughout the nearby downtown and Old Market areas.
