Introduction

Internal and external stakeholders of the University of Nebraska at Omaha regularly request information about student outcomes, including graduation, employment, and earnings. In contrast to information on current students and their efforts and accomplishments, alumni can provide a unique perspective.

To compile this alumni information the UNO Office of Institutional Effectiveness contracted with the American College Testing, Inc. (ACT) to administer a survey of UNO alumni graduating within the last six years (2006-2011). After processing and cleaning, a total of 456 surveys were available for analysis. This represents an overall response rate of 11.5 percent from the 3,952 total sampled recent UNO alumni (2,962 email sample and 990 mail sample).
