Mavericks Capture Last NCC Swim Crown

As predicted, the competition went down to the wire Sunday night at the HPER swimming pool as UNO hosted the North Central Conference swimming and diving meet. In the end, UNO won the title by 1.5 points over defending champion North Dakota. UNO coach Todd Samland was named Coach of the Year while swimmer Laura Kemp was named Freshman of the Year and Kristy Gmeiner was named Newcomer of the Year.
