Christensen to Give UNO State of University Address Oct. 9

Omaha - University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Chancellor John Christensen will deliver his 2013 State of the University Address on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. in the UNO Strauss Performing Arts Center on UNO’s Dodge Campus.

Christensen is expected to discuss the university's efforts to build capacity, implementation of an enrollment management plan and strategic priorities across the campus, as well as update progress on long-range goals. Christensen will also discuss the development and facets of UNO’s value statement.

UNO faculty, staff, students and the public are invited to attend the free event. Metered parking is available for off-campus visitors in front of the Eppley Administration Building, Milo Bail Student Center and Criss Library.

A reception at the Milo Bail Student Center Ballroom will immediately follow Christensen's remarks.
