UNO to Host Study Abroad Events This Week
Omaha - As part of the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) commitment to global engagement, UNO will host two informational sessions this week on the topic of international education:
Wednesday, Sept. 25
At the UNO International Studies and Programs Fall Study abroad fair, students will have the opportunity to learn about the wide variety of opportunities available to them for overseas travel, including single-course options as well as more intensive programs.
UNO offers countless options for study abroad programs that take students to countries like Austria, India, Peru, Germany, Russia, and more.
The fair will take place on the Milo Bail Student Center Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
Saturday, Sept. 28
Saturday’s Lessons from Abroad Conference is designed for students who have taken a study abroad course and are looking to leverage that information during professional interviews or at networking events.
The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Milo Bail Student Center Ballroom (second floor). The cost for attendance is $15 and is open to any UNO study abroad program alumni.
