Durango Days Helps Welcome UNO Students Back to Campus

Omaha - Starting Sunday, Aug. 25, thousands of students will return to the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) campus for the beginning of the 2013-2014 academic school year.

To welcome our students back to campus, UNO is celebrating with a weeklong celebration called Durango Days.

Durango Days begins Sunday with New Student Convocation and a barbeque cookout and continues through Friday, Aug. 30, with free lunch specials every day and late-night entertainment options, like a free movie at Aksarben Cinema and laser tag inside UNO’s Milo Bail Student Center.

During Durango Days, students will have the opportunity to learn more about UNO and have fun at the same time.

Events at Durango Days are open to all incoming students and are sponsored by the Milo Bail Student Center, UNO Student Government, Maverick Productions, Aksarben Cinema, Wells Fargo and Pepsi.
