Thursday, Feb. 28
Saturday, March 2
All previews and performances will be held in the UNO Theatre, located in the Weber Fine Arts Building, (WFAB) on the UNO Dodge Street Campus. The house opens at 7 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. curtain for all performances. The previews on Wednesday, February 13 and 19 will be a TAG Night Out.
“Or,” is a hysterical, historical comedy about Restoration playwright Aphra Behn, the first professional female playwright, as she strives to pen her first hit after breaking free from working as a spy for King Charles II. Part historical fact, part delightful anecdote, this play seamlessly weaves together past and present, entertaining audiences with sharp wit and lots of kissing.
“The Archaeology of Dreams” takes audiences back in time 50 years, to 1963. The year John F. Kennedy was assassinated and the Good Humor Man still traversed neighborhoods in hopes of satiating a child’s sweet tooth. Caridad Svich’s play will arouse nostalgia and humor with the reimagining of 1960s icons like Jackie Kennedy, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and many others.
