Sigma Phi Epsilon Lend Voices to Raise Money for North Omaha Non Profit

Omaha - The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon will be hosting their annual philanthropy event, SigEp Sing, at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Hope Center for Kids, 2209 N. 20th St.

This year’s location was chosen so that the fraternity could have a more direct and local impact. The mission of Hope Center for Kids is to transform North Omaha by inspiring hope in the hearts and minds of its youngest generation.

Hope Center for Kids focuses on four main themes in their activities: education, employability, collaboration and faith. Admission to the event is $3 at the door with all proceeds going towards the Hope Center for Kids and its mission.

Businesses are also encouraged to support the event through a donation or by volunteering a performance. Interested parties, or anyone with questions, should contact Matt McDonald at mtmcdonald@unomaha.edu, or by phone at 402.630.8749.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is Nebraska’s metropolitan university. The core values of the institution place students at the center of all that the university does; call for the campus to strive for academic excellence; and promote community engagement that transforms and improves urban, regional, national and global life. UNO, inaugurated in 1968, emerged from the Municipal University of Omaha, established in 1931, which grew out of the University of Omaha founded in 1908.
