Alpha Xi Delta to Host Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Omaha - The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) chapter of Alpha Xi Delta, a 62-year old sorority, will host a golf tournament fundraiser Sunday, Sept. 16 in support of Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism and science and advocacy organization.

The tournament will he held at the Tregaron Golf Course, 13909 Glengarry Cir., in Bellevue, Neb., and feature 18 holes of golf, lunch, and a raffle drawing. Start time for the tournament is 8 a.m. with lunch being served at 11 a.m. The cost is $60 a person to participate. Lunch will consist of burgers, bratwursts, hotdogs and other sides; drinks are not included.

Those wishing to be tournament sponsors are asked to donate $500 in return for a 4-person team entry and a chance to advertise their organization at the entrance of the event and on promotional materials handed out at the tournament.

Organizations also have the opportunity to be hole sponsors for a donation of $150. Hole sponsors will receive advertising at a select hole throughout the tournament and will be recognized in the event program.

Alpha Xi Delta is currently looking for volunteers for the tournament to help register people, manage the course, set up prizes and organizing lunch.
