Annual Conference Gives Free Financial, Housing Advice
Omaha - Family Housing Advisory Services, Inc (FHAS), has teamed up with local experts to provide resources to assist participants in the areas of housing and personal finances as part of the fourth annual “Surviving in Today’s Economy Conference.”
This free financial conference will be held at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) College of Public Affairs and Community Service building, 6001 Dodge St., on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Topics at the conference will include finances, foreclosure prevention, cutting expenses, taxes, saving strategies, as well as suggestions for dealing with debt, money management, investment strategies and energy efficiency. The conference is intended for people of all ages and economic backgrounds who are looking for financial knowledge in this time of economic uncertainty.
