UNO Community to Participate in 'Get Up and Ride' National Bike Challenge
Omaha - University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) students, faculty and staff will be participating in this year’s “Get Up and Ride” National Bike Challenge.
The Challenge encourages participants to bike for transportation and for the fun of riding. In addition, it advocates cycling for improving health, saving money and helping the environment. Participants can also win prizes at the end of the Challenge.
UNO participants will be competing against other universities across the country. By signing up at www.endomondo.com/campaign/local, students, faculty and staff can log their miles ridden and compare them to other riders nationally.
For more information on the National Bike Challenge or UNO’s involvement, contact Michael Grube at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 402.554.2124.
