Sixth Center for Collaboration Science Seminar to Address Collaboration, Crowdsourcing
Omaha - Collaboration through technology will be the theme at the sixth annual Center for Collaboration Science Seminar on Friday, April 13 at Mammel Hall, 6708 Pine St., on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).
This year’s seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and include an exciting mix of presentations, including analyzing Twitter data to understand social movements; foundations for crowdsourcing research and practice; and team idea evaluation and selection.
The keynote address for the event will address how crowdsourcing allows organizations to create value through engaging the public in problem solving and co-creation activities. The closing panel will feature a panelist-led conversation on collaboration in ideological networks.
Registration and attendance for the event is free. Those interested should send an email to Ross Rippe, office manager for the Center for Collaboration Science, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 402.554.3010.
