Art Gallery Preps for Spring 2012 Student Exhibition

Omaha - Omaha artist Tim Guthrie will select works by University of Nebraska Omaha’s (UNO) undergraduate studio art majors for the Spring 2012 Annual Juried Student Exhibition. Approximately 40 full-time students will be represented in the show that opens with a public reception on Friday, Feb. 17, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m in the UNO Art Gallery.

The competitive exhibition will also include the presentation of the Bertha Mengedoht Hatz Memorial Scholarships, which will be given to deserving students on Feb. 17 during the opening reception. The exhibition continues through Thursday, March 15.

The UNO Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the Weber Fine Arts Building on the UNO campus at 6001 Dodge St. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
