UNO Student Government Offers Metro Bus Passes for Spring 2012
Omaha - No car? No money? No problem!
Be sure to avoid cold walks to campus by visiting the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Student Government offices for your free Metro Bus Pass courtesy of UNO's MavRide program.
MavRide, now in its second year, is providing 600 free passes to UNO students to ride Omaha’s Metro bus system.
Students can claim a free bus pass, on a first come first serve basis, beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday January 9, in the Student Government office, located on the first floor of the Milo Bail Student Center near the Fireplace Lounge. The free passes are valid for the Spring 2012 semester.
In an effort to meet students’ needs, Student Government has partnered with Omaha’s Metro to provide free public transportation. Student Government strives to make UNO the best that it can be, by providing programs such as MavRide to assist students in completing their education.
For more information, call the Student Government offices at (402) 554.2620.
