Author Mullins to Give Reading at UNO Nov. 16
Omaha - David Phillip Mullins, a nationally-acclaimed author and a professor of English at Creighton, whose short stories have been published in Folio, The Yale Review and The Massachusetts Review, will provide a reading at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) campus Wednesday, Nov. 16.
Mullins will read from his recently published a collection of works, titled "Greetings from Below," which all center around a main character named Nick as he grows up and has to deal with betrayal, lust, addiction and death. The book received the prestigious Mary McCarthy Prize from Sarabande Books and the Silver Pen Award.
