CFAM Dean Wins Emmy Award
Omaha - Gail F. Baker, dean of the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media (CFAM) and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) recently received an Emmy Award at the Nov. 6 Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards ceremony.
Baker received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing for her work on “DuSable to Obama: Chicago’s Black Metropolis,” a documentary about Chicago’s black community, as told by its leading artists, politicians and business leaders.
Baker shares the award with her writing team of Barbara Allen and Dan Andries.
