Fall 2011 BFA Exhibit Opens Nov. 11

Omaha - Six Bachelor of Fine Art Students from the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) Art and Art History Department will be featured in the final exhibition of the Fall 2011 semester at the UNO Art Gallery.

The showcase opens Nov. 11 with a reception that runs from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. with the works remaining on display until 1 p.m. on the Friday of Finals Week, Dec. 16.

The work of the six students, all seniors who are expected to graduate in December, ranges in style from abstract painting to graphic design and mobile app design. Students include Aron Schlosser, Jeremy Ripley, Stephanie Purcell, Dan Bossemeyer, Liz Hunt and Katie Condon.

The UNO Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the Weber Fine Arts Building on the UNO campus at 6001 Dodge St. The gallery’s hours are 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, but can be opened for special engagements and other appointments.
