Sexuality Health Educator, LGBT Advocate to Hold Workshop Oct. 27
Omaha - A prominent “Gender Rebel” is coming to University of Nebraska at Omaha campus Oct. 27.
Ryan Sallans, once known as Kimberly Sallans, is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln alumnus, sexuality health educator for Planned Parenthood and LGBT advocate. His workshop, “Inclusive Academia: Exploration of Gender Identity and Expression” will be held for UNO faculty and staff in the Milo Bail Student Center Chancellor’s Room from noon – 1 p.m.
The event is sponsored by UNO’s Women’s and Gender Studies Program, the UNO Counseling Program, UNO Human Resources, the Women’s Resource Center and UNO’s Gender and Sexual Orientation Agency.
