Adopt-a-Family Community Sale is Oct. 15
Omaha - Members of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Chapter of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc., will host their third annual Adopt-a-Family Community Sale in the Milo Bail Student Center Ballroom on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The UNO campus community and the public can shop for specials on clothing and other items. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for $1 each, with prizes including gift certificates to Omaha Steaks, Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse and more.
The funds received from the community sale benefit a number of local Omaha families, providing them with essential items they are in need of, as well as gifts they would not otherwise receive, to make the holiday season a joyous occasion for them and their families.
Contact Toni Monette, NCNW community service chair, at (402) 707-3157 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
