Collective Unconscious Theatre Preps for The Maids
Omaha - This summer the Collective Unconscious Theatre at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will stage the French drama The Maids by Jean Genet, which follows the twisted role-playing fantasies of two sisters plotting to kill their employer.
Directed by Rachel Samson, The Maids runs at UNO’s Weber Fine Arts Building July 28– 30, and Aug. 4 – 6. Doors open at 7 p.m.; the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $8. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Nebraska chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union.

The first show generated by the Collective Unconscious was invisibles by Joseph Fogarty, which enjoyed a successful run at UNO in summer 2010 and received an Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
