Former Paralympian to Speak Oct. 26 for Disability Awareness Month
Omaha - The University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) Network For Disability Awareness will host guest speaker Bruce Froendt at noon Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the Milo Bail Student Center Ballroom as a part of Disability Awareness Month.
Froendt is a former Paralympian who will share his inspirational journey. He remarks are designed to motivate and encourage others to change perceptions toward disability.
The Network For Disability Awareness is a division of UNO Student Government. The office works to build student relationships between disabled and non-disabled students on campus through events and projects.
