Graffiti Abatement to Focus on South Omaha
Omaha - The Association of Latino American Students (ALAS) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha will again partner with the Neighborhood Center for its annual Graffiti Abatement. The Graffiti Abatement will take place on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon in the South Omaha area.
This event serves to clean graffiti off of walls, fences and even street signs that have been vandalized with graffiti. ALAS invites anyone interested in cleaning graffiti to join.
Participants will meet at Metropolitan Community College South Campus at 8:45 a.m. where they will receive quick instructions and can pick up clean-up kits for the day. For more information, call (402) 415-1883.
