Chi Omega Sorority Hula-Hoops to Make Wishes Come True
Omaha - The University of Nebraska at Omaha chapter (UNO) of Chi Omega sorority is teaming up with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to grant a young girl’s wish.
Members of Chi Omega will be hula-hooping Wednesday, Oct. 13 and Thursday, Oct. 14 on the Milo Bail Student Center Plaza from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.
The Make-a-Wish Foundation is Chi Omega’s official philanthropy. Six-year-old Alexis suffers from chronic kidney failure. Her wish is to experience Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. Along the way, Alexis hopes to meet Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty and experience the fireworks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
“Chi Omega needs your help to make Alexis’ wish come true,” said Chi Omega member Megan Schmitz. “When passing through the plaza these two days, please donate any spare change you have.”
