Annual SOLP Awards Recognize Campus Leaders and Programs

Omaha - Outstanding members of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) campus community were honored Thursday, April 1, at the annual Student Organizations and Leadership Programs (SOLP) Awards and Recognition Reception, which took place in the Milo Bail Student Center Ballroom.  Honorees included members of student organizations, student leaders, advisers and staff members.

Shari Tangeman, executive treasurer for Student Government and an Emerging Leader, was the student guest speaker.  Elaine Jabenis, award-winning radio and TV personality, gave a community presentation. 

Staff spotlights featured Julie Totten, associate vice chancellor for Business & Finance, and Josh Krohn, production coordinator for KVNO.  Paul Sather, director of the Service-Learning Academy, and Tricia Soares, president of the Association of Latino American Students, provided community service reflections.
