UNO Student Named 2010 Miss ANTSO Nebraska
Omaha - Amy Wieczorek, a University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) student, recently competed as a Nebraska state finalist in the American National Teenager Scholarship Organization (ANTSO) Nebraska State Pageant and was named the 2010 Miss ANTSO Nebraska. Wieczorek is a senior community health major at UNO.
In addition to the title, Wieczorek won first-place trophies in speech and community service, as well as for most promising model. She also was named the 2010 Miss Nebraska Personality for congeniality.
To support her title and platform highlighting drunk driving awareness, Wieczorek will participate in many events during the next few months. In July, she will compete at the national level in Philadelphia.
