Red Cross to Receive UNO Donation for Haiti Relief
Omaha - (Omaha) – The Milo Bail Student Center and Student Government at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) partnered last month to raise money for Haitian earthquake relief through the American Red Cross with "Round Up for Haiti."
Money raised will be presented to the American Red Cross at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 in the Milo Bail Student Center Food Court. UNO Student President/Regent Michael Crabb will be present, along with Milo Bail Student Center representatives.
Between Jan. 25 and Feb. 5, UNO students, faculty and staff were encouraged to "round up" their Food Court purchases for the American Red Cross. The group raised $1,633.50 for relief in Haiti.
