Omaha - On Wednesday, Oct. 21, University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the National Day on Writing by contributing to a “continuing story” that will evolve on poster boards in the Writing Center, located in Arts and Sciences Hall, Room 150.
Sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of English, the event will include an open house with refreshments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and free pens to the first 100 story contributors.
Writing Center staff will be dressed as their favorite writer or fictional character, and pictures of the event will be posted in the National Council of Teachers of English National Gallery of Writing: www.galleryofwriting.org
