Criss Library Welcomes Book Exhibition Through July 10
Omaha - The Heart and Hands 2009 National Juried Student Book Art Exhibition is on display at the University of Nebraska (UNO) Criss Library June 1 through July 10.
The national exhibition showcases a broad range of books made by graduate and undergraduate students in accredited academic institutions. The exhibit features 39 books made by 32 artists, representing 23 schools across the country.
Tigar Bird, an undergraduate art student at UNO from Weeping Water, Neb., is included in the exhibition.
Books made in book arts, graphic design, photography, print-making and writing courses will be featured. Criss Library plans to purchase selected books from the exhibit for its special collection.
