Maverick MOJO Campaign Garners More National Recognition
Omaha - Recruitment Services at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) certainly has not lost its "mojo." Its Maverick MOJO campaign recently received several awards from the Higher Education Marketing Report.
The 24th annual Admissions Advertising Awards presented UNO and the Maverick MOJO campaign with two Silver awards, two Bronze awards and one Award of Merit in a variety of categories including print materials, newspaper and outdoor advertisements, and new media.
The Maverick MOJO campaign was developed by Ervin & Smith Advertising and Public Relations, an Omaha agency, and was launched in 2006.
The Higher Education Marketing Report was formerly known as the Admissions Marketing Report. The report follows trends in enrollment marketing and higher education branding, integrated marketing, publications, advertising, fund raising and development.

UNO is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The celebration recognizes the partnership among the City of Omaha, its citizens and UNO to build a vibrant and dynamic community. The centennial theme is “UNO: Central To Our City Since 1908.” This theme acknowledges the past contributions of UNO to the community and sets the stage for great things to come.
