Energy Presentation by Tenaska March 26
Omaha - UNO’s Nebraska Business Development Center, College of Business Administration and Pollution Prevention Regional Information Center welcomes a presentation about clean coal production Wednesday, March 26 on campus.
Greg Kunkel, vice president of Environmental Affairs, and Vasu Pinapati, manager, Development Engineering, of Omaha-based Tenaska, Inc., will speak about the future of energy beginning at 1 p.m. inside Roskens Hall, Room 010A. Kunkel and Pinapati will share Tenaska’s plans to design and build a state-of-the-art power plant with the goal of capturing 85 to 90 percent of the carbon dioxide emissions.
The presentation is free and open to the campus community and the public.
