Third Finalist for Dean of College of Arts and Sciences on Campus
Omaha - Steven Haggbloom, department head and professor of Psychology at Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Ky., will visit UNO and be interviewed for the position of dean of the College of Arts and Sciences starting on Thursday, March 13. Dr. Haggbloom is one of four finalists.
Faculty, staff, students and the public can attend the open session during his campus visit on Thursday, March 13 from 4 to 5:15 p.m. in the Milo Bail Student Center Jenkins Room.
The three other finalists are: David Boocker, chair and professor in the Department of English and Journalism at Western Illinois University, Macomb, Ill.; Susan Maher, chair and professor of English at UNO; and Marshall Sundberg, professor of biology at Emporia State University, Emporia, Kan.
Dr. Maher’s campus interview is March 24-25.
B.J. Reed, dean of the College of Public Affairs and Community Service, has chaired the search committee.
