Final Candidates Named for Dean of College of Education

Omaha - Four finalists have been named for the position of dean of the College of Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO.) Each of the finalists will make an official visit to the campus during the next few weeks. Visits will be completed by the middle of March. During the visits, the candidates will have open sessions on campus scheduled to allow the community to meet with them and have a dialogue.

The times and locations of the open sessions are currently being finalized. eNotes will publish all of the campus visit information as it becomes available. The search committee has been chaired by Gail Baker, dean of the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media.

The finalists are:

• Dr. Tom Clees, director of Special Education at the University of Georgia;

• Dr. Alfredo Cuellar, chair of Educational Research and Administration at California State University-Fresno;

• Dr. Rik D'Amato, director of the Neuropsychology Laboratory at the University of Northern Colorado;

• Dr. Jill Russell, vice president for Strategic Planning/executive assistant to the President at Springfield College, Springfield, Mass.
