Town Hall Meeting to Focus on Need for Omaha Police Auditor

Omaha - The University of Nebraska at Omaha School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and the Omaha League of Women Voters will hold a town hall meeting on the topic “Does Omaha Need a Police Auditor” on Thursday, June 21, at 7 p.m. in the William H. and Dorothy Thompson Alumni Center.

Richard Rosenthal, independent police monitor in Denver, Colo., will be the featured speaker.  He will be followed by brief comments from two panelists speaking for and against an Omaha Police auditor.  The presentations will be followed questions and comments from the audience.  Former Omaha news broadcaster Gary Kerr will moderate
