PWSA to Celebrate Women’s History Month on March 4
Omaha - The University of Nebraska at Omaha's (UNO) Program for Women and Successful Aging (PWSA) will celebrate Women’s History Month in conjunction with the Omaha Public Library on Sunday, March 4. Art will be on display and poets will present their work during a reception at the Michael Phipps Art Gallery at the W. Dale Clark (Main) Library, 15th and Douglas Streets, from 3 to 5 p.m.
"Celebrating Women’s History Month has become a tradition for PWSA," said Patricia Adams, PWSA director. “This event gives us an opportunity to highlight the tremendous talent we have in our community and to reinforce our relationship to our community library.”
Pat Davis and Sue Pickering are the featured artists. Their artwork will be on display in the gallery for the entire month of March.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (402) 554-4897.
