Library Friends to Hold Discussion on Math and the Mona Lisa

Omaha - The Friends of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Criss Library Book Club will host a discussion of Math and the Mona Lisa by Bulent Atalay on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at noon in the Milo Bail Student Center Council Room. The discussion leaders will be Glenn Sowell, UNO associate professor of physics, and Joanne Sowell, UNO associate professor of art and art history

In his book, Atalay offers a view into Leonardo da Vinci's restless intellect and modus operandi, allowing the viewers of his art to see the source of his ideas and to appreciate his art from a new perspective.
