Public Health Students to Give Presentations Nov. 27-28
Omaha - Two University of Nebraska Medical Center/University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNMC/UNO) joint Master of Public Health (MPH) students will be making Service Learning/Capstone Experience presentations in late November.
Kristina Volkmer will speak Monday, Nov. 27. Her topic is "A Behavioral Assessment Tool of Tai Chi Participants and Potential Participants 65 years and Older Involved in the Fall Intervention Reaching Seniors Together (F1RST) Program at deFreese Manor (Omaha, NE) and the Senior Center (Council Bluffs, Iowa) and Insight to Program Management – National Safety Council, Greater Omaha Chapter." Her presentation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon in Durham Research Center, Room 4003, at UNMC.
Nicole Carritt will give her presentation - "Tobacco-free Policy Development in Rural Harrison County Iowa" - on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Her talk will run from 10 a.m. until noon in Durham Research Center, Room 8003.
