"Colombian Mobile Consulate" at UNO Sept. 22-24
Omaha - The Colombian Consulate in Chicago will visit the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Friday through Sunday, Sept. 22-24, to offer a variety of services to citizens, including ID cards, passports, visas to Colombia and more. The costs and conditions related to the services are available on the Web at http://www.consulcolombia.us.
"The Colombian Mobile Consulate in Omaha" will be held Sept. 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sep. 24 from 8 a.m. to noon. All services will be held in 106 Arts and Sciences Hall (Conference Room). A short program titled "Colombia Unite Us" ("Colombia Nos Une") is planned for Sept. 22. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. in 100 Arts and Sciences Hall and is free and open to the public.
The events are being sponsored by the Colombian Consulate in Chicago; the Colombia United in Nebraska Association (COLNEB); the UNO Office of Latino/Latin American Studies (OLLAS); and the network of Colombians of Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Payments for passports and other services will only be accepted via cash or money order made payable to the Consulado General de Colombia.
