College of Business Administration to Host Berkshire Expert and Ice Cream Event

Omaha - What goes better with a discussion about the world's best-known value investor?  Well, ice cream.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) College of Business Administration (CBA) will host nationally known speaker, author and acclaimed  "Buffet expert" Robert Miles on Friday, May 5.  He will present "The Genius of Warren Buffett: The Science of Investing and the Art of Managing" in the auditorium of Roskens Hall on UNO's main campus starting at 7 p.m.  CBA and The Reader are the co-sponsors of this free event.

Miles is the author of The Warren Buffett CEO: Secrets From the Berkshire Hathaway Managers and 101 Reasons To Own the  World's Greatest Investment: Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway.  He has appeared on a wide variety of radio and television programs on four continents, including CNN, Channel News Asia, Sky Business News, Shanghai Today and Bloomberg TV. 

After the Miles presentation, CBA and the Reader have a second event the same evening.   The "Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders DQ Reception" will begin at 9 p.m. at the 114th and Dodge streets Dairy Queen.  Berkshire Hathaway shareholders with an annual meeting pass will receive free ice cream cones.

"We are delighted to host this event as part of the festivities surrounding Berkshire Hathaway's shareholder meeting in Omaha,"  said Louis Pol, CBA dean.  "We're excited to have Robert Miles at UNO."

The Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting take place on Saturday, May 6.
