UNO Launches Web Resource for Parents and Families
Omaha - If you're a prospective college student, selecting a university and succeeding once you get there can seem a little daunting. If you're the parents of this student, these tasks might seem even more formidable.
To help alleviate the stress often associated with these processes, the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) has launched a new Web page for the parents and families of prospective and current students.
Located at http://www.ses.unomaha.edu/recruit/parents.php, this centralized source of information is designed to answer the questions parents frequently ask about their child's university experience – from academics to economics. "We address everything from preparing for college to finding resources for your son or daughter once they're on campus," said David Cicotello, director of New Student Enrollment Services at UNO.
For example, visitors to the site can quickly access information about the cost of attending UNO, financial aid, the application process, housing availability, health requirements, student rights to privacy, security procedures on campus, student employment options and more.
For more information or to arrange a campus tour of UNO, call 402.554.2918.
