UNO Division of Continuing Studies to Offer Classes at Bellevue West, Millard South This Fall
Omaha – Beginning this fall, the University of Nebraska at Omaha's Division of Continuing Studies will offer evening classes at two area high schools.
Bellevue West High School will offer four classes – Women and Politics, Intro to Creative Writing, History of Omaha, and Intro to Human Geography – Wednesdays from 6 to 8:40 p.m.
Millard South High School will offer four classes – Intro to Political Science, World Civ I, Fundamentals of Public Speaking and Survey of Jazz – Tuesdays from 6 to 8:40 p.m.
The fall 2005 semester begins Aug. 22.
The UNO Division of Continuing Studies is currently home to the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree, one of the nation's oldest baccalaureate degree programs designed especially for adults. The BGS is held by more than 22,000 graduates, including U.S. Sen. Chuck Hagel.
