2004-05 Philosophy Colloquia Continues Nov. 19 with Carson Holloway
Omaha - The 2004-05 Philosophy Colloquia Series at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) continues Friday, Nov. 19, with a lecture by Carson Holloway. He will present "Aristotle's Magnanimous Man and Shakespeare's Coriolanus" at 2:30 p.m. in 290 Arts and Sciences Hall (ASH). The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in 205 ASH.
Dr. Holloway is an assistant professor of political science at UNO. He is the author of All Shook Up: Music, Passion, and Politics (Spence Publishing 2001). He has been book review editor of The Catholic Social Science Review since 2000. Since 2001, he has served as panel organizer for the Society for Greek Political Thought for the Midwest Political Science Conventions. His research and teaching interests include political philosophy, American political thought, comparative politics and politics and the life sciences.
