Reach For It: A Program of Dance for Persons with Parkinson's | 11:15 a.m.
UNO's College of Education and The Moving Company, along with the Nebraska Chapter of the APDA, are sponsoring "Reach for it: a Program of Dance for Persons with Parkinson's."
Participants will dance and have fun while working on balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility. This class will integrate multiple styles of dance to engage the mind and body and will include dance seated in chairs, standing, and dancing across the floor with piano accompaniment by Esther Wax.
Three-week session-- $15 to be paid at the first class.
Family, friends, and caregivers may accompany participants at no charge. Call 402-554-2670 (UNO’s The Moving Company) to reserve a space.
