Criss Library Hosting Webinars About Preserving Personal and Family Collections | 1 p.m.
Do you have scrapbooks, photographs, letters, diaries, and other important family collections?
Criss Library is marking Preservation Week with the viewing of webinars on caring for family collections and scrapbooks. “Low-Cost Ways to Preserve Family Archives” will be broadcast on Tuesday, April 29, at 1 p.m. in Criss Library room 232, and “Preserving Scrapbooks” will be broadcast at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, in Criss Library room 232.
The webinars will offer practical ways to preserve and care for family collections and scrapbooks. Archivists from Criss Library’s Archives & Special Collections will also be available after the broadcast to respond to questions.
Preservation Week (April 27-May 3) is an opportunity for libraries all over the country to highlight what we can do, individually and together, to preserve our personal and shared collections.
