The 2014 SAC election nomination form is now available on the SAC Website. Nomination submissions will be accepted electronically through 5 p.m. Friday, March 28.
Individuals may nominate themselves. The link to the nominations form can be found on the UNO SAC website or here.
There are nine open positions and the council is looking for volunteers to serve a three-year term. If selected, and then elected, staff would be expected to attend the monthly meeting and serve on various subcommittees. Chancellor John Christensen encourages the support of supervisors in allowing their employees the time off to participate in this important mission.
SAC was established in March 1973 to promote and facilitate communications between UNO managerial/professional and office/service employees and the chancellor. SAC is a working council that meets at least once a month, usually the second Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m.
Submissions are accepted by mail from individuals without computer access: UNO SAC, P.O. Box 130.
